House of Representatives

In accordance with the provisions of Article 62 of the Constitution and Article 21 of the Internal Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami was elected President of the House of Representatives during a plenary session held by the House of Representatives on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
House of Councillors
Mr. Mohamed Ould Errachid
Speaker of the House of Councillors
Mr. Mohamed Ould Errachid, was elected to the presidency of the House of Councillors for the second half of the 2021-2027 legislature, during a plenary session held on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
