
At the meeting held at the Seat of the House in Rabat, the Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Gambian National Assembly, Billay G. Tunkara, noted that this visit seeks to explore Morocco's development projects and gain insight into its parliamentary experience.
The parliamentary delegation reaffirmed Gambia's support for the Royal Atlantic Initiative, lauding the strong historical ties linking the two countries and their mutual commitment to advancing them.
For his part, Talbi Alami provided an overview of the parliament's competences, as well as the democratic, human rights, and institutional advancements the Kingdom has experienced, in addition to the efforts made to achieve economic and social development.
Lower House Speaker extended thanks and appreciation for Gambia's support of Morocco's territorial integrity.
