
The agreement, signed in Marrakech by Moroccan Transport and Logistics Minister Abdessamad Kayouh and Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka on the sidelines of the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, outlines collaboration on road safety strategies, driver regulations, and accident data analysis.
Under the deal, both countries will share technical expertise on traffic control, driver training, licensing systems, and public awareness initiatives. It also includes cooperation on scientific research, innovation, and the use of new technologies to improve road safety.
Kupka welcomed the deepening partnership, saying it would contribute to safer roads in both nations. He also praised Morocco’s organization of the ministerial conference, noting that “this event places Morocco at the center of global discussions on road safety.”
The Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, is organized by Morocco’s Ministry of Transport and Logistics in partnership with the World Health Organization.
Themed "Commit to Life," the event is drawing official delegations from more than 100 countries, including ministers responsible for transport, interior affairs, infrastructure, and health.
