
During the meeting, Toufiq highlighted the strong brotherly ties between the two countries and emphasized both Heads of State's determination to further bolster them across various fields.
Minister Toufiq praised the efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, to develop the Umrah system and visitation services, facilitating the movement of pilgrims to Mecca and Medina.
For his part, Al-Rabiah welcomed the fruitful cooperation between the two departments. He highlighted the important role of the Moroccan ministry in organizing Hajj and Umrah affairs by providing pilgrims with the best services and ensuring their well-being while performing Umrah rites and visiting the Holy Sites.
Furthermore, the two ministers explored ways to enhance joint action and exchange expertise in religious awareness and logistical services.
They also stressed the importance of exchanging visits between officials from both departments to support ongoing coordination and share best practices, with the aim of improving the services provided to pilgrims and visitors to the Holy Sites.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in service of the pilgrims, ensuring them a safe and smooth journey to perform Umrah rites in an atmosphere of serenity and devotion.
